The context of the Fourth Gospel does not provide this explanation. To understand the metaphor of God's 'lamb' or 'amnos,' one must first understand the parent or photograph's transferrable meaning. Just the vehicle, namely the lamb, is mentioned in this examination. The identity of the lamb remained a mystery. It might be anything from the realm of alternate story components with lamb-like characteristics.
